Trademark forms can be comprised of a variety of elements, from simple lettering to complex designs and ornate fonts. However, 73% of chemical trademark applications are for forms in the Standard Character Mark, almost four times more frequently applied for than the next type of form. The other three types of forms, a design only mark, design plus words, letters and/or numbers mark, or a words, letters, and/or numbers in stylized form mark, together comprise 27% of the mark applications for Chemicals (International Class 001).
