The total cost to a Client is a combination of Attorney's fees and Government fees. Attorney's fees are based on Attorney time worked. Government fees are fees to the Patent Office, Trademark Office, Copyright Office, or a court (pre-paid by the Client and held by the Attorney and then the Attorney pays the Government fee on behalf of the Client).
Rate for Attorney's fees: $215 per hour

Patent Office application fees range from approximately $100 to $1,000 depending on multiple factors.
Trademark Applications
Trademark Office application fees range from $350 to $1,500 depending on multiple factors.
Copyright Applications
Copyright Office application fees range from $50 to $500 depending on multiple factors.
For an appearance in a court and subsequent work, work is started after a $4,300 pre-payment for Attorney's fees and Government fees. Then further pre-payments occur as needed, as the case progresses.
If an assessment of a case is needed without a court appearance, then work can be started with a smaller pre-payment.
